John: Sorry about the settings and size of the pictures. It was the best we could do.

Jani: This is hilarious. Actually I never realized some people might actually prefer the hole in the floor, so that a good service would mean providing both options! I guess it makes sense though, as the public toilets in China can be really dirty and the idea of sitting down might seem rather disgusting. For western people though, these signs might seem like too much information!

PİNAR: this style of a  toilets are very similar to our traditional toilets.and I have to say this style is more hygienic.it is a good idea for using them in public toilets.not just in China in everywhere the public toilets may be very dirtysmiley

Marvin: 中国的文字就是从象形文字发展而来的。宇宙探测器上面的资料全的图片,你觉得外星人能看懂地球人的文字吗?显然不能。

Helen: I didnot attend the Expo as there were very  crowded. I am sorry that I cound not understand your main point as I thought these two signs just differentiate pee and poo so that people can line up in correct way. Thus, time for queuing can be saved. Is it?

Outside of China, the World Expo failed to attract much attention in the press. I am amazed that no Westerners commented on the women's toilet facilities at Expo, the highlight of our visit to Expo.
