2007-10-10 - door that make you want to open them or close them
I'm renovating my home and have a problem with the interior of my front doors.  I don't want to change them as that's expensive given they're over size however the interior wood face is ply vaneer rather than interesting wood hence I've put a primer over the surface.  I want to make my doors interesting on the inside as I have given them a lot of curb appeal on the outside.  Can anyone suggest some fabrics that I might utilise in dressing these surfaces up.  I like rustic, morocan, south western, asian etc.. I have a feature wall in my foyer that is red and has a large Indigenous Australian Western Destert painting on it.  The floor is brown saltillo tile and the surrounding walls are yellow wash.  There is also exposed brick in proximity to the doors.

I love the pictures Britany posted however her doors are rather more grand than my house can cope with (maybe)..

thanks in anticipation of heaps of creartive outpourings.

goanna
