2008-09-11 - Yesterday was my first experience communicating with parents...

Yesterday was my first meeting with my pupil parents. First of all there was a common meeting with all the school parents community and teachers introduce Dad's and Mom's with their teaching programs and rules. We were listening about 2 hours... boaring.. Mathmatics were very brief and concret. But another subjects... uf... but nevertheless after this common meeting I should stay in my classroom and communicate with my children parents

There shuold be 20 of them, but just 7 come. So we couldn't solve the money or organizating tips. I just said some words about their children and about my teaching. Some questions, some answers. They were fine

there was no reason to be afraid.

Tomorrow my pupil and me will go to the Dolphins show. I hope it will be interesting

2008-09-6 - Sometimes one hour can be harder than all day

I think, that working teacher is very interesting. But... teacher should be able to make unvisible wall between oneself and children. Why? because sometines children are like energetic vampires. And one hour communicating with 25 kids is equal one day by working hard phisycal work.
I like kids. When they listen, when i'm succed to interest them, when we enjoy communicating. I hope, they like me too

2008-09-2 - Church

Yesterday was the first day with my class. 15 boys and only 5 girls. Everybody wants to be the "best", but I think the better word would be "beast"

some of them really are this type.
But nevertheless I think I will make friends with these children and have as less truoble as possible.
First days are full of documentation ordering. Today we were at the Church. Children have no idea of behavier in the Church :(
Tomorrow real lessons will start...

2008-08-31 - Tomorrow will be September the 1st

Tomorrow will be September the 1st... So the new school year begins...
I will see my new pupil, they will see me. May be i wil get some flowers. There is such a tradition in our country.
I should tell them about school rules, the order, show where everything is. The library, dining room, gym and so on.
Well...
May be everything will be fine

2008-08-28 -

Today was the first day when i was at my new work.
I work Mathematics teacher in some Klaipeda schools.
Two months ago i've ariived from another city Kaunas. and started to live with my partner.
I was very scared to start new live in new place... Really. Why?
Ok. first of all i don't know Klaipeda as a city. New streets, new transport, new people. new job.
Streets and people now are much more familiar to me

but job...
I haven't had any class before - i mean when a teacher is headmaster of one pupil gruop. At latest job i was just Maths teacher. Now my responsibility encreases a lot...
But i think i will overcome this stuff...
Will see - what the new day will bring
