据国外媒体报道，在不远的将来，在阿联酋的迪拜将出现一座史无前例的建筑－－位于水下的豪华饭店。

据悉，这座名为Hydropolis的豪华饭店将由三部分组成：地面站－－用于接待顾客；隧道－－所有人员和物资将从这里抵达饭店的主体部分；饭店主体－－总共拥有220个房间。除此之外，Hydropolis还将成为世界上规模最大的建筑之一：其总占地面积为260公顷，与英国伦敦的海德公园相当。

饭店的设计师Joachim Hauser表示：“Hydropolis并不是一个单纯的规划，它是一件充满激情的建筑。饭店位于海面下20米的地方，总造价约5.5亿欧元，预计将在2007年底开放迎客。”
