There´s no Haloween in Brazil, so I don´t have a lot to share... I´ve never carved a pumpkin... when I lived in the US I saw kids do it, and was amazed... i always thought they did it free hand..  |

I'm guessing you copied the link without http at the start? The link detection works if the link starts with www, otherwise it needs to have http at the beginning. |

I hope everyone had a spooky and frightening Halloween! This time the competition produced more entries than ever but unfortunately we are lingering below the minimum number of participants. Some statistics: Nolan posted 8 stories, Jing Jing 7 and Lily 6. Many of these stories are great and entertaining. The biggest problem is that most, if not all, are obviously copied from other websites.
The most interesting Halloween themed posting was Micah Anne's pair of blog and forum topic with photos from her own Halloween party in the Philippines (www.xihalife.com/b/meekah81/502 and www.xihalife.com/bbs/photos/5456.htm) Unfortunately she didn't post a reply on this page so technically speaking she didn't even participate to the competition.
This leaves us with Jani's pumpkin carving photos as the moral winner of the week: www.xihalife.com/bbs/friends/5468.htm
No game prize this time as we didn't get enough participants. All quality entries will be made hot which gives a nice points boost to those who did a good job. Thanks everyone for participating! We're going to move to a monthly competition from this on as some of you have complained that one week is not enough time to come up with quality stuff. The new competition will be posted soon! |
