When I was a kid, we had lots of these type of pictures on the wall...

It was really popular to have these type of pictures on the wall...

Back then China was still really poor... so people felt a little fat was better looking as it gave the impression the person had at least enough food to eat!

The asian hair is naturally straight, so around that time it started to become a fashion to have a curly hairstyle.

These are old cigarette ads. Seems to be western cigarette companies, but the ads are aimed for  Chinese.

As you can see smoking was portrayed as something the whole family will enjoy...

...and of course smoking is especially good for babies! smiley

Fortunately the cigarette ads are not allowed in China anymore...

About 30 years ago or even earlier, cool Chinese girls looked like this...

Good life... playing on the beach, picnic with the kids...

Trendy clothes, huh?

Old telphone and Pretty girls...

Beautiful pictures plus a touch of history.  Are these orginals that you own?

I have always loved Oriental Art.  It's so graceful.  The lines are smooth and flowing and always pleasant to view. I would love to have one room in my house dedicated to Oriental Art.  It would be a place to go and just relax.
