Thank you. It's about a friend of mine who ended her life when she was only 19 years old. This happened in 2005 and I tried to write poems or lyrics to ease my pain, but didn't come up with anything decent until 2007, when our guitarrist played me this song he had composed. Then I added some of my own thoughts about suicide and depression and a political, social point of view and composed the melody for the song. ' It Takes Ten Minutes To Leave ' was recorded in january 2008, and is our most liked song till now. Thank you for reading this.
The song is owned to everyone, who have lost their loved one to suicide, and to those who have been desperate enough to commit suicide. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! |

| Yes, and sadly enough there has been more suicides around me ever since. Many of my friends have lost their loved ones. :( Violence committed by mentally ill people has been a topic all over the media in Finland these days, because we've lately had a couple of incidents involving young killers who were both depressed. People are not getting proper treatments. I'm just glad if our song helps, even little. |
My friend called me a while ago crying. Her ex-boyfriend had commited suicide. I tried my best to comfort her and after we ended the call, I listened to ' It Takes Ten Minutes To Leave ' a couple of times and thought how many really have to die in vain before something gets done? And who is the next one? :( |

Finland is a little cold most of time, but still really beautiful and clean. I feel really happy with my life here!
