We started Finnkampen, SIGGRAPH's annual (and very unofficial) Nordic get-together this year at a small place called Bukowski's Tavern. The main problems were that there was no air conditioning, we had more than twice as many participants as we had anticipated, and the place had no liquor rights Boston. August 2006.
