An abandoned barn in Tammela, near the Russian border. During the practice sessions for the competition, we managed to find a bar-tailed godwit (punakuiri) behind the barn. This was the 9th sighting of the species in Kuusamo during the last 40 years! Kuusamo. June 2006.
